Batman: Year One
Batman: Year One is the 2011 DC Universe animated feature film based on the DC Comics series by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli.
The film tells of Bruce Wayne's (Ben McKenzie) return to Gotham after his twelve-year training sabbatical. Lt. James Gordon (Bryan Cranston) is struggling with the city's corrupt government and police force. Together they ally themselves to clean up the city and restore law and order.
The film also stars Eliza Dushku as Catwoman, Jon Polito as Commissioner Loeb, Alex Rocco as Carmine Falcone, Katee Sackhoff as Detective Sarah Essen and Jeff Bennett as Alfred Pennyworth.
Batman: Year One is directed by Sam Liu and Lauren Montgomery from a script by Tab Murphy.
