Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero
In Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero, the titular villain returns to Gotham after a long period of exile, seeking once again to save his dying wife. As misfortune would have it, Barbara Gordon (aka Batgirl) is a perfect organ donor match. Freeze kidnaps her sending Batman and Robin in a race against time to rescue her.
The movie spins out of the popular Batman: The Animated Series and is directed by the team of Boyd Kirkland from a script by Kirkland and Randy Rogel.
The voice cast includes Kevin Conroy as Batman, Michael Ansara as Mr. Freeze, Loren Lester as Robin and Mary Kay Bergman as Batgirl.
It was originally released March 17, 1998.
