Barbarella (1968 film)

Barbarella is the 1968 live-action Paramount Pictures film based on the comics of the same name by Jean-Claude Forest.

Jane Fonda stars as the titular space heroine on a mission from the president of Earth to rescue the scientist Durand Durand (Milo O'Shea) who has invented a weapon of mass destruction.

The film is directed by Roger Vadim from a script he co-wrote with Terry Southern.
