Batman Gets Naughty In ‘Return Of The Caped Crusaders’

As the Riddler might put it: When is an animated movie like a time machine? When it’s Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders! In this DC All Access animation clip, we talk to the director and supervising producer of this Batman ’66-inspired original animated movie featuring the voice work of Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar. What was it like working with the original Batman? Which classic vehicles will we see in the film? And where the heck did they get the idea for the giant, deadly TV dinner? Look for the answers on the same Bat-channel! (That would be THIS one.)

  1. Great that they are finally doing something else than just doing a less
intelligent version of comic book stories, a lot less automatic judgement
in the wind when it’s an original story. Now start up the Timmverse again
properly as well and I’ll forgive you for quite a bit!

  2. Some day in the future, a 40 year old ‘kid’ will sit at Warners/DC and say
that George Clooney’s Batman was the first entry for many people of a
generation, and would be making a retro-90s Schumacheresque Batman animated
    film :P

  3. I’m glad Adam West is getting the chance to reprise Batman — I spoke with
him a couple years ago and he mentioned he’d be interested in returning as
Bruce Wayne if they ever made a Batman Beyond live action movie.

  4. WHY
    Make A Real Batman cartoon

  5. Is there a mistake? Batman is getting on the Bat-movile to the right, but
then when they get out to the cave, he is driving the car on the left

  6. Yes, all the yes to every new batman stuff that is NOT dark and edgy for a
chance. 😀 Now we only need a 1960 Batman game. ;P

  7. Can’t wait to own a copy of this, because I have the 60’s graphic novels DC
realesed on these, including the 77 Wonder Wonder, with Linda Carter, I
hope DC do an animated Version of that as well, featuring the voice of
Linda Carter, now that would be nice also.

  8. Lol, I love this idea, can’t wait for it to come up in amazon. I know I’ll
probably be flamed by people who hate the 60s Batman but I also grew up
with this version. Thank you DC for allowing this to come out of the

  9. oh my God I am only 10 years old at the moment and I watch every episode of
the first season of the Adam West Batman I can’t believe they’re making a
return I think that is so cool

  10. At least this Batman doesn’t have batman symbol almost down to his stomach
as live action costume did this one have it on chest more
